We are now seeking additional service workers for our team at Södra Älvsborg Hospital! The Service Worker Role As a facilities custodian, you will meet many new people in a dynamic work environment. You will primarily work with patient-adjacent facilities maintenance, final cleaning of patient rooms, and meal management, though other tasks may also arise. The work takes place in a care setting where you have close contact with colleagues, customers, and patients. You will experience variety and development opportunities as we also assist our customers with other service assignments. The work is scheduled on weekdays and weekends, both day and evening shifts, according to schedule and as needed. For the Service Worker Role, You Need: - To build good relationships, be helpful, and enjoy meeting patients - The physical capability required for demanding physical work, heavy lifting, and performing repetitive tasks - To be responsible by being thorough and loyal to your assignment - To work well together with others - To demonstrate interest, willingness, and commitment to performing good work You have education at the compulsory school level and communicate well in Swedish, as you will have dialogue with customers and colleagues and must follow both written and verbal work instructions. Your IT knowledge is basic; you can use a smartphone, tablet, email, and search for information online. Experience in other service work, facilities maintenance, or SRY training is meritorious.
