We are now seeking a service and installation technician with a focus on welding and pipe systems. Here you will work practically with installation, service, and adaptation of technical equipment in water treatment.

About the Position
In this role, you will work with installation, commissioning, service, and renovation of our customer's machinery at their facilities. The position involves significant responsibility for pipe systems and welding tasks in projects.
Work takes place in industrial environments and involves regular travel within Sweden and, when needed, to Norway and Denmark. You work in a team and have ongoing customer contact.
Work Hours:
Monday–Wednesday: 07:00–19:00
Thursday: 07:00–12:30
Key Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of machinery
Welding and adaptation of pipe systems
Service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
Renovation of existing facilities
Work with pumps, valves, and related equipment
Blueprint reading and technical documentation
Material ordering and basic planning
Customer contact related to assignments
We Are Looking for You If
You have technical education at upper secondary level or equivalent experience
You have experience with pipe welding in industrial or water/wastewater environments
You have experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel
You have experience with TIG welding in stainless steel pipe systems
You can work independently from blueprints
You have hands-on experience adapting and connecting systems in existing installations
Requirements
B-class driver's license
Good blueprint reading skills
Good tool handling skills
Fluent Swedish, spoken and written
Comfortable with travel-based work
Welding licenses or certifications are merits but not required.

Additional Information
Work takes place at customer sites, so you should be comfortable in a role with frequent customer contact and varied work environments.
Placement location is flexible and you do not need to be based in Borås to be a suitable candidate for this position.
