About the Position Your primary role as serving staff at O'Learys Nyköping is to ensure that our guests have a fantastic overall experience when they visit us. O'Learys Nyköping is more than just a restaurant and bar – here we combine food, drinks, and sports with activities such as bowling, billiards, darts, shuffleboard, and arcade games. Therefore, you won't just be doing traditional table service, but are part of the entire guest experience and help our guests both in the restaurant and in our activity areas. You welcome and attend to our guests, seat them properly, present the menu and offers, take orders, and serve food and drinks. You also help guests with our activities, bookings, and practical questions, and ensure that the activity areas are welcoming, organized, and ready for the next guests. With us, we help each other where needed. One moment you're serving a table, the next you're helping a group get started with bowling or darts. Your Responsibilities Include: Serving food and drinks according to O'Learys service sequence Welcoming guests and helping them to tables and activities Presenting the menu, offers, activities, and current campaigns Taking orders and ensuring that orders are registered correctly Providing guests with the best possible service throughout their visit Helping guests with bowling, billiards, darts, shuffleboard, arcade games, and other activities Setting up and managing activities and helping guests with instructions and basic troubleshooting Ensuring that activity areas are clean, organized, and ready for the next group Actively upselling food, drinks, activities, and other offers Informing and inspiring guests about our activity offerings Following alcohol laws and checking ID according to current procedures Handling payments and managing registers and card terminals according to our procedures Alerting the responsible manager or security personnel if a guest has consumed too much alcohol or is creating an inappropriate situation Preparing and resetting the restaurant and activity areas before opening and closing Keeping service stations and common areas well-organized and stocked Clearing tables, cleaning, handling dishes and trash, and contributing to keeping the entire facility clean and welcoming Supporting colleagues in different areas of the restaurant such as service, activities, dishwashing, greeting, kitchen, and bar Taking responsibility for iPads, registers, and card terminals being left in good condition and for correct cash handling Desired Experience and Qualities Experience from restaurants, bars, service, activities, or similar operations is a plus Good knowledge of Swedish and English You are social, positive, and relationship-building You enjoy working in a team and are happy to help where needed You can handle multiple tasks simultaneously You are solution-oriented and always keep the guest experience in focus You take own initiative and see what needs to be done What Do We Offer You?
