Do you have a genuine interest in tobacco and nicotine products and are curious about how consumers experience taste and sensory characteristics? Do you enjoy working closely with people and want to be part of an international company where sensory research contributes to product development? Then this could be the role for you.
We are now seeking a Sensory Panel Leader for a leading international company in Malmö. In this practical and varied role, you are responsible for the daily operation of sensory panels that evaluate nicotine and tobacco portions, including well-known brands such as VELO and Lundgrens. You will work on-site in Malmö while also becoming part of a global sensory team with a broad international network.
This position is a full-time consulting assignment through Adecco for 6 months, with the possibility of a permanent position with the client.
Your responsibilities
As a Sensory Panel Leader, you play a central role in ensuring that sensory studies are conducted with high quality. Your main responsibilities are to:
Manage the daily operation of multiple sensory panels.
Prepare product samples and ensure that the sensory laboratory is well-organized.
Recruit, train, and support over 50 sensory panel participants.
Lead panel sessions and create a professional and engaging environment for participants.
Assist Sensory Scientists with questionnaire programming, monitoring panel performance, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Contribute to the development of new sensory methods, product development, and continuous improvements.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, your personal qualities are just as important as your experience. We are looking for someone who is confident, mature, and comfortable taking responsibility. You find it easy to build trust, communicate professionally, and feel comfortable conducting training sessions and leading groups of up to 20 participants.
Above all, you have a genuine interest in tobacco and nicotine products and curiosity about how flavors and sensory experiences are perceived by people. You work in a structured and thorough manner, are flexible, and thrive in a collaborative environment with a fast pace.
Qualifications
We welcome candidates with diverse educational and professional backgrounds. What matters most to us is not a specific degree, but that you have the right attitude, good collaboration skills, and a genuine interest in tobacco and nicotine products.
It is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in, for example, food science, consumer science, behavioral science, chemistry, biology, market research, or another relevant field. Experience in sensory work, laboratory operations, quality assurance, research, product evaluation, or consumer insights is also advantageous.
If you additionally have experience in statistical analysis, sensory software, or the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Copilot), that is a plus.
Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

Full-time position at the client's office in Malmö, Monday to Friday.
