Länstrafiken Kronoberg is a department within Region Kronoberg. Our mission is to contribute to good travel options in the region by offering well-functioning public transportation and specialized transportation services for municipalities that have commissioned us to procure/operate paratransit and school transport services.
Länstrafiken operates over 10 million trips annually in public transportation, and our overarching goal is to attract more satisfied customers.

DUTIES
As a Senior Traffic Developer, you will develop strategic directions, lead or participate in assignments, investigations, and negotiations. You participate in transportation procurements, work that spans the entire procurement process—from participating in pre-studies to assembling procurement documentation.
You also have a key role in planning, developing, and optimizing public transportation. You are responsible for designing schedules and vehicle rotations as well as ensuring that the right resources are in the right place at the right time. By analyzing ridership statistics and traffic data, you identify development opportunities and adapt transportation to meet passenger needs and established guidelines. The role also involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation and finances of transportation in close collaboration with transportation companies, municipalities, and other partners.

QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, you have a higher education degree in logistics, transportation planning, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience from work life deemed equivalent. You have several years of experience in traffic planning.
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, responsible, structured, and analytical. You have the ability to see the big picture while paying attention to details. You are motivated by improvement and development, and you have a strong drive to find solutions that create value for both the organization and our customers.
You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
Work hours: Daytime.
