Assignment Description In this role, you combine strategic test leadership with operational testing. You work closely with development, operations, and external vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and develop the agency's test methodology and practices in complex IT environments. Your primary responsibilities: Test Leadership & Planning: Plan, lead, and follow up on testing activities within projects and operations, and report status, risks, and quality to project management. Strategy & Documentation: Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases, and ensure traceability to requirements. Operational Testing: Perform manual testing and contribute to automated testing. Quality Assurance: Manage defect reporting and participate in requirements work from a testing and quality perspective. Methodology Development: Coordinate testing activities with all parties and contribute to developing the agency's test methodology. Mandatory Requirements The role corresponds to Competency Level 3 (approximately 4–8 years of relevant experience). To meet the must-have requirements, you have: Software Testing: At least 5 years of documented experience since 2020 in software testing. Test Leadership: At least 3 years of documented experience since 2020 in a test lead role. Strategy & Planning: Documented experience developing test strategies and test plans. Breadth in Testing: Documented experience with both functional and non-functional testing. Agile Environments: Documented experience with testing in agile development environments (e.g., Scrum, SAFe). Security & Language: Swedish citizenship and fluent Swedish language skills, both oral and written. Desirable Requirements At least 3 years of documented experience since 2020 in one or more of the following areas: Testing in complex system landscapes with multiple integrations. Testing of security-critical systems or systems with high data protection requirements. Testing in DevOps environments. Performance testing or security testing execution. Personal Qualities You can work independently, take responsibility, and drive quality assurance work in complex environments. You have strong collaboration and communication skills, are structured and thorough, and take a proactive approach to methodology development. About the Assignment & Practical Information Period: 2026-09-30 – 2028-09-29 (24 months with option for up to an additional 24 months). Scope: 100% Location & Work Arrangement: Örebro / Hybrid (main workplace in Örebro typically 2 days/week, normally not consecutive days). Security Requirements: Swedish citizenship required.
