The position is located in Stockholm, and you will be placed in a security clearance, which means a security vetting will be conducted prior to any employment. The role includes travel, both internationally a few times per year and within Sweden approximately 6–8 times per year. We are looking for someone who wants to take a leading role as a technical leader in research and development projects in the aviation domain and who thrives at the intersection of technical systems expertise, international collaboration, and business development. Requirements: • Master's or equivalent degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics, computer science, or equivalent • Experience with technical coordination or technical leadership in complex development projects, preferably in larger consortia • Experience with standardization, preferably with contributions to the development of standardization proposals • Very strong ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing Meritorious: • PhD in a relevant field • Experience from the defense sector or other security-sensitive/regulated activities • Experience with EU-funded projects, for example within EDF • Experience with verification and validation, test leadership, demonstration, demo scenarios, and evaluation • Experience with systems engineering and software architecture for complex systems-of-systems Personal Qualities: • Strategic • Business-minded • Quality-conscious • Trustworthy • Collaboration-oriented • Results-driven Are We Right for Each Other?
