Your Role As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you'll work in a strategic and business-oriented role where you combine sourcing, negotiation, relationship building, and long-term business thinking in an international environment. You'll play a central role in driving and developing our strategic procurement efforts forward alongside engaged colleagues and important partners worldwide. The role carries significant commercial responsibility, with the opportunity to lead procurement of one of our most strategic sourcing categories while developing, monitoring, and executing supplier and category strategies. You'll work closely with business development, product management, and contract teams to align cost and technology plans with finding the right suppliers. You'll be part of an experienced and welcoming team with broad expertise and diverse backgrounds where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and respect for different perspectives are integral to daily work. This is a role for someone who thrives with significant responsibility, multiple stakeholder interactions, and who is motivated by making a real impact on the business. The role involves considerable travel initially, particularly outside Sweden, so a valid driver's license is required. In the role, you will, among other things: • drive advanced procurements and negotiations with strategic suppliers both nationally and internationally • take responsibility for commercial agreements and long-term supplier strategies • ensure competitive and sustainable business solutions throughout the product lifecycle • develop, monitor, and execute category and supplier strategies • work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple parts of the organization • participate in strategic projects related to localization and supply chain development • lead and collaborate with other strategists and operational procurement professionals Your Profile With strong communication and relationship-building skills, you build trust at multiple levels, both internally and in close collaboration with external partners. In a complex and cross-border environment, the ability to navigate multiple stakeholder interactions is essential, where structure, clarity, and collaboration are key to driving the work forward. Analytical and strategic thinking combined with the ability to translate insights into concrete decisions and deliverables that create business value. Confidence in decision-making even with incomplete information is central, as is the ability to balance risk, business considerations, and pace in complex situations. We're Looking for Someone With: • Engineering or Economics degree or equivalent academic background • Strong interest in and understanding of technology • Minimum 10 years of strategic procurement experience • Strong experience with advanced negotiations in complex business environments • Strong experience developing and managing strategic supplier relationships • Strong experience with contract management and commercial negotiations • Excellent understanding of business and legal matters • Experience from industrial or technology-driven operations • Excellent English proficiency, both spoken and written • Experience from international organizations The position requires a passed security clearance according to current regulations for security protection.
