Senior Accounting Consultant with Team and Quality Responsibility

Now we are looking for a highly experienced accounting consultant who wants to take a central role with us. This is an important recruitment for Wallman & Co. We are not just looking for another consultant, but a person with the experience, knowledge, and confidence needed to be a natural thought leader in the group and one of the firm's public faces. The Role You will have your own clients and independently manage the entire accounting process in your assignments. But the role is broader than that. You will also be a key resource in our clients' financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns. In addition to your own clients, you will independently prepare financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns for clients where another consultant manages the ongoing accounting. You should be able to quickly grasp an assignment, understand the full scope, identify what needs to be done, and drive the work all the way to completion of the annual report and tax return. The role includes, among other things: responsibility for your own client portfolio ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and reporting VAT and employer tax returns independent preparation of financial statements and annual reports income tax returns advanced accounting issues for both corporations and sole proprietorships ongoing financial advice to business owners support to other consultants on advanced accounting matters quality assurance and process improvement client meetings and contact with, for example, the Swedish Tax Agency and other external parties You should be completely self-sufficient with financial statements, annual reports, and income tax returns. By completely self-sufficient, we mean exactly that. You should be able to take a financial statement from reconciliations and closing entries to a completed annual report and tax return, make your own qualified assessments, identify errors and risks, and know when an issue needs to be escalated to, for example, a tax lawyer or other specialist. You are pedagogical and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You can explain why something should be done a certain way, not just tell how it should be done. Anti-Money Laundering Regulations are a natural part of the role As an accounting firm, we are subject to anti-money laundering legislation and the requirements that the regulations place on our operations. Therefore, you need to have good knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and understand how they should be applied practically in an accounting firm. We are not looking for someone who has just completed an annual AML training. You need to understand how the regulations affect daily work and what responsibility we actually have as accounting consultants. Your Experience You have solid experience in advanced accounting work and we would prefer that much of this experience comes from working at an accounting firm. We want you to: have very good knowledge of Fortnox have good knowledge of financial statement, annual report, and tax return software, such as Hogia be completely self-sufficient with financial statements, annual reports, and income tax returns have extensive experience with both corporations and sole proprietorships be experienced in preparing financial statements for clients where another consultant manages ongoing accounting have good knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and the requirements placed on accounting firms speak Swedish and English fluently have experience with group accounting be confident in client interactions and experienced in independently handling advanced matters have good judgment and high professional integrity be driven, organized, and accustomed to taking responsibility for getting work done If you are an Authorized Accounting Consultant FAR or SRF, that is highly meriting.
