We are now looking for a senior project manager within operations projects who will lead large and complex projects and programs that directly contribute to societal benefit. About the Role As a senior project manager, you will lead and drive complex business-critical projects or assignments from start to finish. Svenska kraftnät's operations portfolio consists of business development initiatives managed in program or project form. Project duration can vary from one year to several years, depending on scope. This may involve developing new or existing IT systems, adapting operations to new requirements, or developing more efficient working methods. IT system development is often part of projects, which are carried out according to the PPS governance model. You will take on larger and more comprehensive projects and in some cases act as a program manager leading other project managers. The project portfolio and project managers are divided into three areas: Power System Development, Operations, and Electricity Market. This position belongs to the Power System Development group, and you will primarily work with projects in this area. Within Power System Development, projects aim in various ways to develop tomorrow's transmission network. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in project and program management and deepen your knowledge of the power system's structure and function. The role also offers excellent opportunities for collaboration and experience exchange with colleagues. You will work on one of Sweden's most important development tasks, where you will contribute daily to Sweden's electricity supply. You will be part of the Investment Planning unit, which is the client for facility investments related to connections, system reinforcement, and market integration, and is responsible for project management of operations projects. The unit currently consists of 20 people, seven of whom are project and program managers. Project managers within the unit are organized in their own group with a team leader, which facilitates informal knowledge and experience sharing.
