We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for GöteborgsLokaler We are looking for an experienced and business-driven senior project manager who wants to help develop Gothenburg's district squares and commercial properties and take on portfolio responsibility. You are responsible for projects from idea and planning through implementation and handover, and you become an important link between business, technology, and operations. Together with engaged colleagues, you contribute to creating attractive, sustainable, and safe urban environments for Gothenburg's residents. You work closely with commercial managers, technical managers, and center developers, and you have many contact points both internally and externally. Your Assignment As a senior project manager, you have overall responsibility for larger investment, development, and maintenance projects within the company's real estate portfolio. The role is both strategic and operational and involves leading complex projects through the entire process – from preliminary studies and needs analysis to completion and handover. You are responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out with the right quality, economics, and schedule while ensuring that they contribute to the company's long-term goals and the development of our shopping areas and district squares. Your main responsibilities include: • Lead and drive real estate development projects, space adaptations, and investments from early stages to completion according to the established plan. • Collaborate with commercial managers on space planning, tenant customizations, and development projects that strengthen the appeal of properties and shopping areas. • Plan and carry out major technical investments and maintenance projects together with technical managers. • Manage project economics, schedule, quality, risk management, and work environment. • Procure consultants and contractors according to LOU regulations and ensure compliance with contractor legal frameworks such as AB 04, ABT 06, and BAS-P/BAS-U. • Lead project meetings and coordinate work between internal functions, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. • Drive projects that contribute to increased safety, sustainability, and development of our squares and districts. Your Profile You are an experienced project manager with good business acumen and strong commitment to sustainable urban development. You are accustomed to driving complex projects with many stakeholders and thrive in a role where you combine strategic thinking with operational execution. As a person, you are organized, communicative, and solution-oriented. You build trust in collaborations, have natural leadership, and are skilled at building long-term relationships. You have the ability to balance commercial, technical, and economic perspectives to make well-informed decisions. We are seeking someone who has: • Relevant higher education or university degree in construction, real estate, civil engineering, or equivalent competence that the employer deems equivalent. • At least 7-10 years of experience leading large construction, investment, or real estate projects, preferably in commercial properties or public operations. • Documented experience managing project budgets, investment calculations, and financial follow-up. • Good knowledge of contractor law, especially AB 04 and ABT 06. • Experience with procurement according to LOU regulations and leading consultants and contractors is a merit. • Good knowledge of working with project management models. • Good understanding of the construction process and experience in project management from early stages to completion. • Can contribute to developing the company's project methodology. • Drive project measures that contribute to increased social sustainability and safety on our squares and in our areas. • Valid driver's license (required to move between our 21 squares).
