About the Company The Swedish Agency for Digital Government (Digg) works with the entire public administration to accelerate Sweden's digitalization and create a sustainable welfare society where digitalization benefits everyone. On January 1, 2027, Digg will merge with the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS). The new agency will be called the Digitalization Agency. About the Role Digg is seeking a senior performance tester for Min Myndighetspost (MiMy). The assignment involves both strategic and operational work with a focus on load, performance, and robustness testing in complex system environments. Extensive development work is underway on Min Myndighetspost with the goal of offering a more modern digital mailbox, improving accessibility from an inclusion perspective, and enhancing security for digital communications. Role and Responsibilities As a senior performance tester, you will: Conduct non-functional testing including load, performance, response times, and robustness Work strategically and operatively on testing Design, implement, execute, and analyze automated performance tests Define and translate business requirements into measurable performance requirements, load models, and testable performance scenarios Analyze metrics and logs and troubleshoot integration flows Identify root causes of performance and stability issues Perform technical testing in systems with integrations and APIs Work through the entire testing chain from analysis and design to execution and follow-up Contribute to structure, traceability, and working methods Proactively identify and highlight risks Required Qualifications We expect you to meet all of the following mandatory requirements: At least competency level 3, which means high competency in the current role, ability to take responsibility for a sub-area, and ability to work independently. This level is typically achieved after 4–8 years of work in the current role. At least three years of experience independently designing, implementing, executing, and analyzing automated performance tests using tools such as k6 or equivalent. At least three years of experience defining, documenting, and translating business requirements into measurable performance requirements, load models, and testable performance scenarios. At least three years of experience analyzing metrics and logs, troubleshooting integration flows, and identifying root causes of performance and stability issues. At least three years of experience with performance testing of integration-intensive systems and API-based solutions. At least three years of experience working in agile teams and applying agile working methods. Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Desirable Qualifications Experience collecting, monitoring, and analyzing metrics in tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent. Experience with performance testing in public operations or other operations with high requirements for availability, security, and stability. Experience with SOAP, REST, and other integration-based services in complex system landscapes. Experience working with container-based platforms such as OpenShift or equivalent. Assignment Information Assignment Period: 2026-10-01 – 2027-09-30 Extension Options: Two extensions of 6 + 6 months, maximum until 2028-09-30 Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week Work Location: Stockholm or Sundsvall Office Presence: At least 2 days per week until 2026-12-31. From 2027-01-01, 3 days per week or more if required by operations.
