Senior Site Manager at Peab Infrastructure

We are now seeking an experienced and business-driven site manager who wants to lead our upcoming large and technically advanced infrastructure projects in the Gothenburg region. About the role: As a site manager at Peab Infrastructure, you will have a central role in leading and driving complex projects from start to completion. The projects vary in scope and content but are characterized by high technical complexity, multiple stakeholders, and significant demands on planning, coordination, and leadership. You will have overall responsibility for production, finances, quality, environment, and workplace safety, while leading the project organization toward shared goals. The role involves close collaboration with customers, employees, subcontractors, and internal specialist functions. Your main responsibilities: Build and develop long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners. Ensure the right resources in planning, procurement, and production. Responsible for purchasing materials and procuring subcontractors. Represent the project in customer meetings and other external forums. Responsible for the project's overall scheduling and execution. Monitor finances and ensure project profitability. Lead and develop the project organization. Responsible for quality, environmental, and workplace safety work. Ensure that documentation and handover are completed according to contract. Contribute to experience feedback and business development. Who are you? We are looking for someone with a construction engineering background or equivalent experience who has successfully led major infrastructure projects for many years. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: At least 10 years of experience as a site manager or in an equivalent leadership role in infrastructure. Experience with large and technically complex projects, preferably in road, ground, infrastructure, or construction contracting. Strong knowledge of contract law, finances, and contract management. Experience leading large project organizations. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have experience with partnering contracts and estimation and bidding work. As a person, you are a confident and engaged leader with a strong business focus. You have the ability to build trust, make decisions, and help people develop and perform together.
