Senior Network Specialist with Project Management Competencies to MUST

We are now seeking experienced staff who want to work with technical project management, network architecture, design, development and transformation projects of the Swedish Armed Forces IT infrastructure within the Military Intelligence and Security Service (MUST). Focus will include among other things production and further development of secure IT solutions. Together with the section, you contribute to efficient information management, both in the short and long term. Main Responsibilities You will mainly work with network architecture, design and further development of secure communication solutions and network infrastructures. The work includes planning, documentation, project management, some configuration and support to operations and the operational organization. The work is varied and to succeed in your role you work together with colleagues and are prepared to handle "Hands On" tasks at all levels. The responsibilities include participating and providing support to the office's other activities. On-call duty and travel may occur. Qualifications Academic/post-secondary education in network and data communication, systems science or equivalent knowledge deemed equivalent by the employer Several years of relevant professional experience Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Meritorious Knowledge in information/IT security Certifications in CISCO products Deep understanding of the function and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls Technical project management Experience with IT infrastructure from the Swedish Armed Forces or other agencies within total defense.
