Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our assignments are varied and technically challenging, with a clear connection to industrial development. Here you'll have a role where you combine technical responsibility with customer dialogue. In your role as a senior mechanical engineer, you're a key person in our projects. You're responsible for developing and implementing sustainable and well-functioning mechanical solutions, often in an advisory role to the customer. Your main responsibilities: Manage the mechanics area in projects, from start to delivery Develop and optimize designs and technical solutions Prepare and quality assure drawings, models, and technical documentation Support customers in requirement specification and technical decisions Assist with installation, commissioning, and follow-up Participate in risk analyses and work related to machine safety Contribute to colleague development through mentoring and knowledge sharing Assist in bids and development of our service offerings You may have roles as project manager, technical lead, or specialist depending on the assignment. Your Profile We're looking for someone with a solid technical foundation who thrives in a role where you take responsibility and work closely with customers. You have: A degree in mechanical engineering from a university or technical college, or equivalent Several years (preferably 8+ years) of experience in mechanical design within industry Ability to independently drive technical assignments Good experience with CAD tools (e.g., Inventor or SolidWorks) Experience designing for production, assembly, and operation A valid driver's license It's advantageous if you also have: Experience with customer responsibility or project management Background from process, energy, or manufacturing industry Knowledge of machine safety and current regulations Experience with calculations, such as strength analysis or FEM Practical experience from installation or commissioning As a person, you're organized, solution-focused, and business-minded. You're confident in your expertise and have an easy way of building trust in customer relationships.
