We are seeking a senior Linux technician who in this assignment with our customer in Stockholm will be a key person in a small, tight team supporting business-critical systems within societally important functions. You will play a central role in a team responsible for operating societally critical systems in a security-classified environment.

Your Responsibilities
In the role of senior Linux technician, you work with operations, management, and development of Linux environments in a business-critical and regulated environment. You handle troubleshooting, system optimization, configuration and automation, while contributing your network expertise in everything related to routing, switching, and firewalls. You work closely with the team to ensure a robust and secure infrastructure and you continuously work on improvements to the platform, processes, and stability.
Since the customer operates within a societally important activity, the environment is security-classified, which means working on-site five days a week.
Your Profile
You are an experienced Linux technician who enjoys working close to the technology and is drawn to complex, societally important environments where quality and security are critical. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You work well in teams, communicate clearly, and have a good ability to see the big picture in infrastructure.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience with Linux as an operations or systems technician
Strong expertise in networking (routing, switching, firewalls)
Experience with scripting/automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible)
Familiar with working in critical and complex IT environments
Swedish citizenship and ability to undergo security clearance
Ability to work on-site at the customer's location 5 days per week
Meritorious
Experience in security-classified or heavily regulated environments
Knowledge of virtualization or container technology
Experience with monitoring tools and log management
Certifications in Linux or networking
