In your role as a control system engineer, you will participate in project teams within station investments, collectively responsible for achieving project goals. You will primarily be responsible for control system issues in projects from the preparation of procurement documents to project completion. Furthermore, you will work with requirements setting toward suppliers and contractors. Your responsibility includes ensuring that installations are built according to our contracts and technical guidelines. You will participate in testing by the building contractor, both at the manufacturer and at the installation site to ensure correct quality. You will also participate with the building contractor during energization of the station's new installation components. You will participate in updates of technical guidelines for control systems and provide technical support to neighboring units with control system questions. There are good opportunities for development both in the role and in the area as a whole. You will have the opportunity to take training courses, work with the latest technology, and work with some of the industry's most competent employees, both internally and externally. The work also includes being able to make assessments between different technical solutions together with our contractors, maintain schedules and deadlines, and maintain good relationships with larger contact areas. You will be part of the Control System AC Project North or Control System AC Project South unit, which currently consists of approximately 10 employees and 12 consultants whose primary task is to support Svenska kraftnät's investment activities with technical expertise and act as requirements setters for the technical design of our installations. Mandatory Requirements We want you to have a vocational degree, civil engineering degree, or higher education engineering degree with a focus on electrical power, energy systems, or equivalent. You may also have acquired relevant expertise in another way that the employer deems equivalent. We also want: You are communicative and express yourself well in Swedish and English in speech and writing. Class B driver's license. Several years of experience working with control systems for transmission networks at 130–400 kV or hydroelectric power stations (>40 MW production/station). We consider it a merit if you have good knowledge of relay protection systems for transmission networks, control equipment, remote control, automation, auxiliary power systems, and project work. Good to Know The position is a permanent employment. Work location is Sundbyberg, Västerås, Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Luleå, or Sollefteå, but remote location can also be discussed.
