WORK TASKS
We are looking for an experienced strategic and operational communicator. You are responsible for coordinating communications that support one of our essential public services. You coach and develop managers and employees in their communication role, and conduct active dialogue with internal clients based on the organization's communication needs. In addition, you work both strategically and operatively with communication support. This includes everything from communication plans and major campaigns to web content and various materials.
In the coordination role, you lead and distribute incoming communication needs within a small group of communicators to ensure comprehensive delivery.
You collaborate closely with operations in your area where communication creates value and benefits for our customers and influences behavior.
We have a strong focus on digitalizing our processes and we would like to see that you have experience with process-oriented working methods with the goal of improving the customer journey.
The position is in the Marketing and Communications Unit, which consists of 18 employees, with the main workplace at our headquarters in Ulvsunda, Bromma.
Examples of work tasks:
• Coordinates communication needs within your assigned area.
• Plans and coordinates activities in close collaboration with unit managers and internal clients.
• Ensures processes, structures, and working methods that create efficiency.
• Analyzes communication needs, identifies target audiences and channels, develops strategies, messages and plans, and evaluates communication initiatives.
• Writes, publishes, and produces communication materials, but is also skilled at commissioning various communication services from procured suppliers.
• Coaches and supports managers and specialists in their communication.
• Participates in various networks and collaboration groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are passionate about communication as a strategic tool for achieving goals and vision. You enjoy combining strategic and operational work and taking personal responsibility for driving assignments forward. You are a skilled writer and have the ability to adapt messages to different target audiences and channels.
As a person, you are organized, goal-oriented, and solution-focused. You find it easy to build good and lasting relationships internally and externally and have the capacity to support multiple assignments in parallel. You are a good team player with leadership qualities.
To succeed, you have:
• A degree in communications or other relevant education.
• At least five years of experience in both strategic and operational communication work.
• Experience leading projects or holding another coordinating or leadership role.
• Experience commissioning and following up communication assignments.
• Experience with digital communication and digital communication solutions.
• Experience with change management.
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good experience working with social media as an integrated part of communication work.
• Good knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern the communications area, such as GDPR and the Accessibility Directive.
• Experience working with Adobe programs and web publishing tools, such as Episerver.
It is a merit if you have:
• Experience with communication work in public sector operations.
• Experience with press and crisis management.
