For our customer in the defense industry, we are now looking for a Senior IT Solution Architect with solid expertise in infrastructure and secure IT solutions. Here you will have a central role where you combine strategic thinking with operational work and help shape solutions in a technically advanced and socially important operation. Your Responsibilities As a Senior IT Solution Architect, you will be part of a competency group consisting of other IT architects and Business Analysts. The work is conducted both individually and together with other specialists, and you will have the opportunity to work in several different areas based on your experience, interests, and development ambitions. You are responsible for ensuring that IT solutions within the infrastructure area are designed and realized in a thoughtful and sustainable manner. The solutions must meet the organization's needs and regulatory requirements and work together with existing and future IT environments. In the role, you are expected to independently drive architectural issues, guide others in technical decisions, and handle complex issues. You ensure that overarching architectural principles, standards, and guidelines are followed and make well-founded technical decisions that create long-term value for the organization. You will, among other things: Analyze the organization's requirements, needs, and conditions Design solution proposals within infrastructure from multiple perspectives Independently drive architectural issues from needs to a realizable solution Act as an expert and support, for example, Service Managers and Service Owners Be advisory in complex technical issues Prepare decision-making materials for business decisions and technical choices Ensure that solutions comply with relevant requirements, laws, regulations, processes, standards, and policies Document architecture, solutions, and technical decisions Present and communicate solutions to different audiences and in different forums Contribute knowledge and experience to colleagues and the organization's architectural field Your Profile We are looking for someone with a solid background in IT and infrastructure and who is experienced in working with architecture, solution design, and technical decisions in large and complex IT environments. You have the experience and confidence required to independently take responsibility for complex solutions, challenge existing approaches, and serve as an advisor to both technical specialists and business representatives. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to switch between detail and the big picture. You understand complex technical relationships and can simultaneously explain different scenarios and choices clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences. As a person, you are initiative-taking, responsible, and comfortable independently driving your work forward. At the same time, you are unpretentious and enjoy working in teams where people share knowledge, support each other, and work together to find the best solutions. We would like to see that you have: Solid experience in IT architecture, solution design, or equivalent responsibility In-depth expertise in the infrastructure area Experience with large and complex infrastructure solutions Experience with solutions that are run on-premises Experience with hybrid and cloud-based solutions Ability to independently drive architectural issues and technical choices A strong interest in IT and information security Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing Swedish citizenship, as the assignment is covered by security requirements It is meritorious if you also have experience with: Service design IT architecture at multiple levels Modeling of architecture, information flows, or technical solutions Work in security-critical or regulated operations Other: Locations: Linköping and Malmö Scope: Full-time Start: By agreement The assignment is placed in a security classification.
