We are now looking for a senior instrumentation engineer to join our team in Gothenburg who wants to be part of developing future industrial solutions. Here you will work on diverse assignments alongside skilled colleagues and industrial customers in sectors such as energy, oil and gas, and petrochemicals. This role suits you if you want to combine cutting-edge technical expertise with close customer dialogue and the opportunity to influence both projects and solutions.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a consultant with us, you will become an important part of our customers' projects and a specialist in instrumentation and process automation. You work closely with customers and project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle - from early investigations and feasibility studies to design, installation, and commissioning.
Your work tasks may include:
Provide technical advice and support in customer dialogues and sales meetings
Participate in quotation work and cost estimation
Conduct investigations, feasibility studies, and project deliverables
Design control and regulation systems
Prepare design documentation and detailed drawings
Work with ATEX and SIL design
Participate in field installations and commissioning
The role offers great variety and the opportunity to influence both technical solutions and project execution. If you want to develop further, there is potential to take on greater responsibility in assignments with customer, budget, and personnel responsibility.
WHO ARE YOU?
We are looking for an experienced instrumentation engineer with a genuine interest in technology who thrives in a consultant role where you combine independent work with close collaboration in projects. As a person, you are thorough, responsible, and unpretentious. You have a structured work approach and enjoy collaborating with both customers and colleagues. At the same time, you are confident in driving your work forward independently, making well-founded decisions, and contributing your experience in technical discussions. You are curious, solution-oriented, and see knowledge sharing as a natural part of your everyday work.
To succeed in the role, we believe you have:
Relevant technical education from university, college, or vocational school, or alternatively professional experience that is considered equivalent
Solid experience with instrument design in the process industry, for example in energy, oil and gas, or petrochemistry
Knowledge of AutoCAD, ATEX, and SIL
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is a merit if you have experience with SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) or similar database management tools.

At Rejlers, you will become part of one of the Nordic region's leading technology consulting firms, where you get the opportunity to work on diverse industrial projects where your expertise makes a difference for both customers and society.
You will be part of a team where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and learning are a natural part of everyday life. We believe in freedom with responsibility and give you the opportunity to influence your development based on your ambitions - whether you want to deepen your expertise as a specialist or take on greater responsibility in projects and customer relationships.
With us, you work together with experienced colleagues from several technical fields, which creates good opportunities to develop through both assignments and collaboration. We offer an inclusive work environment, interesting technical challenges, and benefits that support both your professional development and work-life balance.
