ABOUT BAEMINGO Baemingo is building the restaurant industry's financial operating system – a platform that brings together POS systems, payments, analytics tools, and financial services in one place. Their idea is simple: give every restaurant owner the right tools, the right data, and the right financial support to grow their business. One restaurant becomes two. Two becomes ten. Founded in Stockholm in 2017, the company now has around 35 employees. They support over 4,000 restaurants across five countries and have been recognized on Deloitte Sweden's Technology Fast 50 list. The platform is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs – one of their founders still runs their own restaurant, meaning the product is tested in the real world every day, not just in a conference room. ABOUT THE ROLE Baemingo is looking for a senior full-stack developer who wants to take end-to-end ownership of features across the entire development pipeline – from APIs to user interfaces and across the entire platform. One week you might be developing the POS system used daily by thousands of restaurants. The next week you're working on payments, analytics features, back-office systems, banking services, or AI functionality. You work where you make the biggest difference. You'll be part of a small, experienced development team with a short path from idea to production, working closely with the company's CTO. You're expected to own your solutions, deliver with high quality, and take responsibility even after features have launched. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD Business-critical systems for restaurants You'll develop the software that restaurants use every day, such as POS systems, internal tools, and dashboards. The goal is for the technology to work so smoothly that users barely think about it. Financial services You'll work on solutions in payments, banking, lending, cards, and onboarding – systems that handle real payment flows for thousands of businesses. AI functionality AI is an integrated part of the product. You'll help develop agent-based AI solutions and analytics features that learn from thousands of restaurants, rather than just integrating a traditional chatbot. Tech stack Frontend React TypeScript Vite Tailwind CSS Apollo Client (GraphQL) Backend Node.js TypeScript GraphQL DynamoDB Integrations with payment, identity, and banking systems AI LLM-based agent functionality Tool Calling Streaming Multi-agent orchestration Infrastructure AWS (S3, CloudFront, SSM) CircleCI Monorepo architecture You don't need to know every technology on day one. However, we're looking for someone who can quickly pick up new technologies and tools. WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO Have approximately five years or more of experience developing modern web applications Have deep experience with both frontend development (React/TypeScript) and backend development (Node.js, APIs, and databases) Have experience with GraphQL or feel confident quickly learning it Enjoyed taking ownership of a feature all the way through, from idea and requirements to a finished solution in production Want to contribute to the team's technical development and share your knowledge Have very strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Have the ability to work on-site at our Stockholm office It's especially meritorious if you have experience with: Multiple product areas such as POS, payments, analytics, fintech, or internal business systems Practical work with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, or evaluating AI models Payment solutions or other regulated operations Design and user experience, and the ability to translate a design sketch or idea into a well-executed product BAEMINGO'S PHILOSOPHY The best restaurants deserve the best digital tools Restaurants should have a real financial partner, not just a POS system Personal support makes a big difference The best software is the one the user doesn't need to think about – it just works OTHER INFORMATION Scope: Full-time, employment Start: By agreement Salary: Competitive Work hours: Office hours Location: Central Stockholm (on-site work) RECRUITMENT PROCESS & CONTACT This is a direct recruitment, meaning the candidate who gets the position will be employed directly by Baemingo.
