In this key role, you will have overall responsibility for accounting and financial reporting in the parent company within a regulated banking environment, where you contribute with senior expertise, structure, and development of financial processes. About the Role In the role, you will have a central position with responsibility for quality in accounting and financial reporting as well as management of technical accounting matters. You contribute with senior expertise, structure, and development within the finance function. You also maintain close dialogue with the Head of Finance and contribute with analysis and decision-making support on financial matters. The role involves work in a complex and regulated environment with high demands for quality, structure, and financial control. You have overall responsibility for ensuring quality in bookkeeping, financial statements, and reporting as well as handling technical accounting matters according to K3 and IFRS. The role involves significant personal responsibility where you drive processes forward, create structure, and function as a stable and senior resource in the team. Key Responsibilities Responsible for and ensure quality of bookkeeping, financial statements, and financial reporting Handle and drive technical accounting matters according to K3 and IFRS Take overall ownership of accounting-related matters within the parent company Drive improvement initiatives and efficiency improvements in accounting and reporting processes Serve as a contact person with auditors Support the organization in accounting matters and contribute to improved internal controls Support the Head of Finance in complex accounting matters and help free up time for more strategic and business-focused work Participate in and drive ad hoc projects within group accounting, financial reporting, and development of finance processes. Qualifications Academic degree in economics, finance, or equivalent Experience working in regulated activities or financial environments is advantageous Several years of experience as a Senior Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar Solid knowledge and experience of accounting and financial statement preparation Good knowledge of K3 and/or IFRS Experience handling technical accounting matters Advantage to have experience from the banking or financial sector Advantage to have background from auditing, preferably within financial companies Experience with business systems, preferably Netsuite, is advantageous Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written About You To succeed in the role, we see that you are a driven and responsible person who thrives in an operational and changing environment.
