We are now looking for a senior financial controller who wants to contribute with business-oriented analyses, develop financial management, and provide strategic support to management and operations. About the Role As Senior Financial Controller, you will be an important part of the finance department and work closely with the Finance Manager, CEO, and the bank's managers. The role is both operational and strategic and involves significant responsibility for analysis, reporting, and financial monitoring. You will, among other things: • develop reporting models and financial analyses that support business decisions • be responsible for budget processes, forecasts, and cost monitoring • participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure high quality in financial reporting • conduct profitability, investment, and cost analyses • identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement through analysis of key metrics • provide advisory support to the Finance Manager, CEO, and the bank's managers • present financial analyses and decision-making materials in a clear and pedagogical manner • contribute to the development of working methods, digitalization, and efficiency improvements within the finance area • ensure that work complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines You will also collaborate with other Savings Banks, Swedbank, and external authorities. Who Are You? We are looking for an experienced controller with a strong business focus who enjoys converting numbers into insights and decisions. We see that you have: • an academic degree in economics, such as a Certified Business Economist or equivalent • at least ten years of experience as a financial controller, preferably in banking or other complex and regulated operations • experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial monitoring, and financial analysis • good knowledge of accounting and financial management • very good skills in Excel and the Office package • very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is a merit if you have experience from Savings Bank or Swedbank as well as regulatory reporting. You have the ability to make complex financial information understandable and appreciate presenting analyses to different audiences.
