We are seeking an experienced Senior Controller for an exciting consulting assignment with an established real estate company in Gothenburg. The assignment is time-limited and part-time, starting October 2026 and expected to run for approximately one year. The scope varies over time, corresponding to approximately 20-70%, with the possibility to work remotely up to two days per week based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will among other things:
Support the business with investment calculations and financial analyses
Monitor investment projects and report deviations
Work with property valuation and property assessment, and coordinate the process
Develop methods, routines, and documentation within the finance and monitoring area
Prepare analyses and reporting of financial information
Contribute to the development of system support and monitoring processes
Train and present financial information to various audiences
We are looking for someone who has
Academic education in finance with a focus on financial management, or equivalent experience
Several years of experience as a controller, preferably in real estate companies
Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, actuals, and qualified financial analyses
Experience with investment calculations and monitoring of renovation/investment projects
Experience with property valuation and property assessment
Good understanding of real estate accounting
Experience with major financial systems and preferably Hypergene and/or Unit4
As a person, you are analytical, structured, and self-driven. You have an easy time grasping new areas, drive the work forward, and communicate financial information in a clear and pedagogical manner.
