Within Controlling at E.ON Energy Networks, we have a clear ambition: to develop Finance from traditional monitoring to becoming an active Finance Playmaker in business development. Therefore, our Business Controllers work closely with the business and collaborate with our FP&A and Digital Finance teams to develop new approaches in AI, automation, visualization, and data-driven decision support. With us, you get the opportunity to influence both the business and the development of the future Finance function. Your Role As a Senior Business Controller, you act as CFO to the business. You are responsible for financial management within one of our business areas and are a natural advisor on matters relating to business development, investments, prioritization, and resource allocation. We are looking for someone who is not satisfied with analyzing what has happened, but who wants to influence what happens next. You lead through influence rather than through formal mandate. You challenge established truths, drive change, and translate analysis into decisions and action. Together with the business, FP&A, and Digital Finance, you develop both the business and the future Finance function. You work with, among other things: driving and developing financial management within your area of responsibility contributing to business development, investments, and strategic priorities responsibility for budgets, forecasts, follow-up, and business-critical analyses translating financial and operational insights into decision support and recommendations driving development in AI, digitalization, automation, and data-driven approaches together with the Digital Finance Team identifying opportunities to strengthen analytical capabilities, efficiency, and business impact together with our Financial Planning & Analysis Team Your Experience We are looking for someone with several years of experience in Business Controlling or a similar senior financial role, as well as academic training in economics or equivalent. You have strong business understanding and are experienced in using financial and operational insights to influence decisions. You challenge assumptions, drive discussions forward, and translate analysis into clear recommendations. For you, AI, data, digitalization, and automation are not future issues but natural parts of modern financial management. You see technology as a tool for creating better decisions, stronger business value, and more efficient ways of working. You combine analytical sharpness with the ability to create engagement in others. You not only want to work in the future Finance, you want to help build it. Experience with SAP, Qlik Sense, or similar analytical tools is a merit. We also view experience with initiatives in AI, automation, or digitalization positively. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. What is it like working with us?
