Senior Business Controller

We are now recruiting a Controller for our client in Stockholm, located at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. About the Assignment We are seeking a full-time Controller for our client in Stockholm for a consulting assignment through Bemannia starting 2026-10-12 through 2027-09-15. You will be based at the client's office at Stockholm Arlanda Airport with the option to work remotely one day per week. The role involves broad responsibility for business management and financial monitoring with a focus on supporting managers and operations on financial matters. Your Responsibilities Responsibility for financial monitoring and management within your area, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, as well as development, coordination, and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and business plans. A central part of the work is analyzing financial results and key metrics, identifying deviations and improvement areas, and translating analyses into relevant decision-making materials. The role also involves qualified business support to managers and leadership on financial and business matters, with a focus on creating understanding of the business's financial development and providing a foundation for well-informed decisions. Additionally includes: • Development and presentation of reports, analyses, and decision-making materials. • Participation in development and improvement initiatives within financial management, reporting, and process development. • Contributing to increased digitalization and efficiency of financial processes, reporting, and analysis. Your Qualifications • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Controller, Senior Controller, or equivalent. • Documented experience with closing procedures, budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring. • Very strong analytical skills and experience translating financial information into business insights. • Experience working closely with managers and operations as an advisory business partner. • Very strong Excel skills and experience working in ERP and BI systems. • Ability to quickly grasp new operations, processes, and systems. • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English. • Ability to work independently, systematically, and results-oriented. Meriting • Experience with change management, process development, and digitalization within finance. • Experience with automation, data-driven analysis, and modern reporting tools. • Knowledge of and practical experience with AI-based tools in finance, reporting, analysis, or business management. • Experience from larger organizations or group environments. • Experience with Power BI or similar analysis and visualization tools.
