Senior Backend Developer (.NET / Azure / DDD / AI) (5+ years)

Backend in C# / .NET is the core, but you're equally comfortable with SQL, data design, and cloud architecture. You design services in microservices architecture, model domains via DDD, CQRS, and Onion Architecture, and build solutions in Azure built to last. Technical Focus • C# / .NET — microservices, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design, Onion Architecture • Dependency injection, SOLID and design patterns applied in production • Azure cloud: Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, Docker, KQL • MSSQL in depth: stored procedures, functions, views, CTEs, query optimization, SSIS • Messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ or equivalent) • Data engineering proximity via Databricks • Unit testing (xUnit / NUnit, Moq), code quality (SonarQube, ReSharper), modern CI/CD Strong Merit: AI-Driven Development We're looking for developers who think AI-first in their daily craft: • Use AI tools daily in your workflow — code completion, test generation, code review, documentation • Have strong opinions on where AI makes developers faster and where it creates technical debt • Experience integrating AI functionality into production systems (RAG, LLM APIs, MCP) • Build or have built agentic solutions — where LLMs drive real workflows, not just chat responses • Want to shape how AI is incorporated into business-critical development Who We're Looking For • At least 5 years of experience as a backend developer in production • Technically strong and genuinely interested — code is your craft, not just your job • Talk DDD with substance — not buzzwords but real application in complex domains • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, design principles, and database optimization • Take ownership of your tasks and drive them independently — you own your delivery • Curious and inquisitive — thrive in complex environments and find answers yourself • Comfortable with technical code tests and deep technical interviews — you enjoy real code conversations • Experienced with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps culture • Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written • EU citizenship or valid work permit within the EU (requirement in financial sector for background checks) • Bonus: experience from regulated industries (banking, insurance, fintech) About You You're curious, solution-oriented, and confident in your craft.
