We are now seeking a section leader for our psychiatry clinic in Falun - a stable and well-functioning operation with engaged colleagues, a good work environment, and a strong focus on quality, patient safety, and development. The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Falun is part of specialist psychiatry in Region Dalarna. We offer assessment, treatment, investigation, and follow-up for adult patients in need of specialist psychiatric care. We work in teams with the patient at the center and have a clear focus on collaboration, quality, and continuity of care. We are currently engaged in active development work to strengthen our working methods and accessibility. The clinic has multiprofessional teams including physicians, psychologists, nurses, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Work includes conversation therapy, medication treatment, care planning, telephone counseling, and support measures. The operation also collaborates with primary care, social services, and other healthcare providers to provide coordinated support to patients. The scope of the section leader role can vary between the leadership assignment and clinical work. When needed, you may need to staff functions in your base profession with short notice. This is a leadership assignment without personnel responsibility, where you have a key role in creating structure, supporting colleagues, and driving development in daily work. Together with the manager, you actively work with work environment, patient safety, routines, and operational development. You are a present and operational leader who is close to daily work and contributes to creating security, clarity, and quality in the team. As section leader at the clinic, you are responsible for the ongoing operation of the unit. Unit managers are responsible for the overall strategic responsibility for the operation. You participate in planning, follow-up, and development of the operation and contribute to ensuring that the operation is conducted with good quality, efficiency, and in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines. Your assignment includes coaching staff members in daily work using a coaching approach. Your role includes: • Coaching and guiding colleagues on patient work, working methods, and priorities • Contributing to efficient and flexible use of resources (competence, personnel, facilities, and materials) • Driving and participating in development work and areas of responsibility • Planning and implementing internal training initiatives and group learning • Contributing to developing working methods, quality, and patient safety • Being responsible for the clinic's flows and waiting lists • Performing various tasks in your base profession Qualifications • Licensed nurse or other licensed education that the employer deems equivalent • At least 1 year of clinical experience in the profession • Previous experience as a section leader • Interest in psychiatry and development work • Thrive in a role where you both work close to patients and with operational development • Secure, structured, and work well collaboratively • Preferably experience with improvement work or operational development • Completed LUCA or equivalent training Application Interviews will begin in week 34.
