We are now seeking a section leader for our psychiatric outpatient clinic in Falun - a stable and well-functioning operation with engaged colleagues, a good work environment, and a strong focus on quality, patient safety, and development. The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Falun is part of specialist psychiatry in Region Dalarna. We offer assessment, treatment, investigation, and follow-up for adult patients in need of specialist psychiatric care. We work in teams with the patient at the center and have a clear focus on collaboration, quality, and continuity in care. We are currently engaged in active development work to strengthen our methods and accessibility. The clinic has multiprofessional teams including physicians, psychologists, nurses, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Work includes, among other things, talk therapy, medication treatment, care planning, telephone counseling, and support services. The operation also collaborates with primary care, social services, and other healthcare providers to provide coordinated support to patients.

Job Responsibilities
You will be employed in your primary profession with a 2-year appointment as section leader. The scope as section leader may vary between the section leader role and clinical work. If needed, you may need to fill functions in your primary profession at short notice. This is a leadership role without personnel responsibility, where you have a key role in creating structure, supporting colleagues, and driving development in daily operations. Together with the manager, you actively work with work environment, patient safety, procedures, and operational development.
You are a present and operational leader who is close to daily work and contributes to creating security, clarity, and quality in the team. As section leader at the clinic, you are responsible for the ongoing operations of the unit. Unit managers hold overall strategic responsibility for operations. You are involved in planning, follow-up, and development of operations and contribute to ensuring that the operation is conducted with good quality, efficiency, and in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines. Your role includes coaching staff in daily work using a coaching approach.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Coach and guide colleagues on patient work, methods, and priorities
- Contribute to efficient and flexible use of resources (competence, personnel, facilities, and materials)
- Drive and participate in development work and areas of responsibility
- Plan and conduct internal training initiatives and group learning
- Contribute to developing methods, quality, and patient safety
- Manage clinic flow and waiting lists
- Perform various tasks in your primary profession
Qualifications
- Licensed nurse or other licensed education that the employer deems equivalent
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in the profession
- Previous experience as a section leader
- Interest in psychiatry and development work
- Comfortable in a role where you work both close to patients and on operational development
- Secure, structured, and good at collaboration
- Preferably experience in improvement work or operational development
- Completed LUCA or equivalent training
