We are seeking a section head for the Operational IT Service Delivery section, which is a new section that you will have the opportunity to shape from the ground up, based at our headquarters in Norrköping. Job Description You will report to the unit manager and be part of the unit's management team, where you collectively take responsibility for developing the future IT service center and creating conditions for innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous learning, developing managers and employees, and building a culture characterized by responsibility, collaboration and trust. The assignment is central to the IT service center's continued development and includes responsibility for delivery processes of user-facing IT services, communication and user experience, as well as business development and change management. As a section head, you will lead through other managers and will have your own management team consisting of three group heads whom you will recruit. The section consists of three operational areas (Delivery Processes, Information, Knowledge and User Experience, and Operational IT) with different but complementary assignments. Together you are responsible for developing working methods, processes and capabilities that strengthen the IT service center's delivery capacity and contribute to the vision of being a modern and learning service organization. As a section head you have overall responsibility for personnel, operations and budget. You are responsible for the section's work with continuous improvements, business development and change management, and contribute to creating an attractive workplace with a good working environment. You collaborate with managers and specialists throughout the IT department as well as with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's operations to ensure that the IT service center's development is based on operational needs. National travel occurs regularly in this assignment. Possibility for remote work for a smaller part of working time; flexible working hours based on trust are applied. We are looking for someone who has: Academic education preferably in systems science, university or civil engineering degree, or other education in combination with relevant experience Documented leadership training Several years of experience as an indirect manager (manager of managers) with budget, personnel and operational responsibility Experience from management assignments with responsibility for delivering IT services within large complex organizations Experience in driving larger change processes and business development within your own area but also across other areas Experience of IT support within public operations Good knowledge of and experience with ITIL Good knowledge of service-oriented delivery models, process development and service delivery Very good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish and good ability in speech and writing in English. It is also meritorious to have: Education and experience in ITIL, as well as PPS and DevOps or other established governance and development models Experience of: - building or further developing new operations or organizational functions - change communication or strategic internal communication - work with customer or user experience Knowledge of: - user-centered service development - internal communication and change communication - public administration governance within larger organizations - the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's operations Other Information The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has chosen to eliminate the cover letter and replaced it with selection questions that are relevant to the position.
