About the job As section chief of the legal unit at the claims and payments department, you create conditions for active employee engagement through exercising close leadership. You have responsibility for operations, personnel, budget, and work environment for your section. As a member of the unit's management team, you take responsibility for leading and developing the unit together with your colleagues in the management group. You collaborate within and outside the agency to achieve results and create value for our customers. As section chief, you will lead approximately 14 employees, consisting of both lawyers and administrative case handlers. This is a new section that will be part of the legal unit within the claims and payments department. Employees are located in multiple cities, which means you will partially lead remotely. You are therefore expected to be able to exercise close leadership even when you and your employees work in different locations. You report to the unit chief, who is located in Sundbyberg, and you are expected to maintain close cooperation with the unit chief and the other section chief to achieve the operations' goals and mission. Position location: Gävle or Luleå. Everyone who works at Kronofogden contributes to work against crime. Your employees' work tasks include identifying and preventing attempted crime as well as reporting suspected crimes to other authorities. Your qualifications: Degree from a law program with 270 credits (180 points according to the old system). Current and relevant work experience from working with the summary process or the enforcement code at Kronofogden. It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience from a leading or coordinating assignment. About us Kronofogden is a government agency with an important mission. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a probationary period of six months. You will be employed as a case handler and receive a management assignment for four years. If you are already employed at Kronofogden, you remain in your basic position during the assignment period. Travel in the job occurs. Kronofogden offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working in the state means that you follow the state's value base. There are also special requirements for judgment, security mindset, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions at interview about any previous criminal activity and deficiencies in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked to reference persons. We also collect information about debts registered with Kronofogden, bankruptcy, and business bans. Information obtained is taken into account in the overall assessment of your suitability for the current employment. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with registry check according to the security protection act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
