Section Manager for Home Healthcare

Ref: 20261555 Within home healthcare, we are now seeking a new section manager for our nurses in section Katrinetorp 2. The section has approximately 20 employees. Duties In your role as section manager, you are responsible for leading, organizing, and developing the operations in line with future care needs and the transition to care closer to home. With an increasing number of patients needing advanced care at home, high demands are placed on adapting to digital solutions and close collaboration with your management colleagues. You will be an important part of an engaged management group consisting of 11 section managers who together drive development and quality in care. As a manager, you are responsible for personnel and the work environment through systematic work environment efforts, where an important part is collaboration with our union organizations. You ensure that resources are planned and used efficiently, both in your section and the unit as a whole. You have an administrator and other support functions to assist you in meeting the operations' needs. You see the assignment in a broader perspective that encompasses the entire organization and also care neighbors such as health centers and the region. Managing home healthcare in Malmö is both complex and rewarding. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has An academic degree (of at least 180 credits) that the employer considers relevant Experience working as a manager within healthcare/care and support services Good Swedish in speaking and writing Good digital competence It is meritorious if you have Management and/or leadership training Experience working as a manager overseeing nurses, occupational therapists, and/or physiotherapists Experience working as a manager/leader in a politically governed organization We are looking for someone who is confident and stable in your leadership. You lead, motivate, and delegate authority to achieve common goals. In the role of section manager, you must be able to coordinate groups, create engagement, and be a point of reference. You have self-awareness and see relationships in their proper perspective. Good collaboration skills are important and you listen, communicate, and resolve any conflicts in a constructive manner. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that messages get through and that expectations are clear, while you follow up to ensure efficiency. You have the ability and drive to work until projects are completed or goals are achieved. Your perseverance means that you remain motivated despite setbacks. Through a good holistic view, you understand your role but consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and decisions.
