We are looking for someone who wants to meet this target group together with us and our collaboration partners. The work is fast-paced, exciting, and challenging, and you will become part of a management team with high expertise, curiosity, collegial support, and close leadership. The unit is characterized by great commitment to development, knowledge building, working methods, and collaboration, both internally and externally, as well as active workplace environment work. Due to the significant national focus on the target group, several development initiatives are underway. We have recently begun implementing the assessment tool Ester and RBM principles, while work with Signs of Safety is ongoing. Contact with researchers from Malmö University has also been initiated. To meet this development, we are expanding the Youth Unit. During the fall, we are developing placement teams and senior case handler positions to support new employees and strengthen onboarding. We are also establishing management support to relieve managers. The unit has a placement coordinator who assists when institutional placement is needed and a school coordinator who helps ensure continuous schooling during placement. Job Responsibilities As a section manager, you will be responsible for the social services activities regarding authority exercise, focusing on young people with norm-breaking behavior between 13-18 (20) years of age. The focus of this assignment lies on developing and finding long-term solutions through work with children, young people, and their families based on their needs and participation. The assignment also includes leading and distributing work in the group with responsibility for finances, personnel, and work environment. You should develop competence, engagement, and work satisfaction in collaboration with managers and employees. We want you to communicate with, guide, and stimulate employees and utilize and develop their knowledge and experience. Furthermore, it includes further developing social work, staying updated on current developments, research, and evidence-based methods, as well as driving quality work. Qualifications To be considered for the position, you need to have: A degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent Experience from social work within authority exercise Management or leadership experience within the public sector Good knowledge of legislation and ability to make decisions based on applicable regulations It is advantageous if you have: Leadership training Experience in driving quality work Work with the target group Previous workplace environment responsibility Experience with authority exercise of children, young people, and foster care. Experience leading teams through change processes Experience collaborating with internal and external actors such as Region Skåne, schools, preschools Good knowledge of administration and ability to manage administrative systems related to the management role Knowledge of MI, Signs of Safety, and Ester The job responsibilities demand high requirements for both independent work and collaboration skills, and with a changing workday, it is important that you are flexible and can calmly adapt to changed circumstances.
