About the unit FMTIS has four operational units (GE) in Sweden that maintain the Swedish Armed Forces' management systems within IT and telecommunications. The position is located at GE West. The unit works with maintenance of the Swedish Armed Forces' telecommunications network, electrical/mechanical, radio, sensor and surveillance systems as well as installation, operation and maintenance of various IT systems. The Kristinehamn Operational Division (GA) is growing and is now looking for a security technician to strengthen our team, which currently has about ten employees. Initially, the section chief will take on the role of senior alarm technician and serve as a mentor for other technicians in the section. The section will not be fully staffed until 2030, when the new garrison area in Kristinehamn is ready to be put into use. Main responsibilities You lead and allocate work within your section with the support of the division manager. You are responsible for your employees' individual development and conduct, among other things, employee interviews, scheduling and training planning. You will actively participate in production and other customary tasks for a "first-line manager" such as: Representing, leading and developing personnel and operations Planning, quality assuring and monitoring production Responsibility for working environment and safety issues Participating in financial follow-up and forecasting work Collaborating with suppliers, customers and other units and authorities. Qualifications Current work experience in a field relevant to the position or equivalent knowledge that the employer can assess as equivalent.
