Your Role As Section Manager Production Development at the Garpenberg Mine, you are responsible for creating the mine's future production areas. You lead the work with mine development and preparation, ensuring that the right production areas are completed on time, with the right quality, and at the right cost. The role includes drilling, loading, rock reinforcement, and development contractor management. You have personnel responsibility, work environment responsibility through delegation, and budget and results responsibility for the section. You lead and develop supervisors, production technicians, and employees, and work closely with other sections, planning, geology, maintenance, contractors, and support functions. An important part of the assignment is to act as client and operational manager for the development contractor, and to follow up on safety, quality, progress, performance, and economics. Your Team You are part of the mine's management team and report directly to the Mine Manager. The role is based in Garpenberg and working hours are daytime Monday to Friday. As Section Manager Production Development, you will be a key person in driving safety, quality, schedule compliance, and development forward in an operation where holistic thinking and collaboration are critical to the mine's overall results.
