About the Job As a manager and leader at the Swedish Tax Agency, you ensure the bigger picture, create conditions, and act deliberately in everyday work. You are the section head for Section 1 at Unit 6 in the Personal Tax Assessment Department. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 20 employees, participate in the unit's management group, and report to the unit head. The section works with income taxation and special income tax, among other areas. Your work location is Malmö. Our operations are in constant development and change. In this role, you should: - Have the ability to see the bigger picture with a focus on customer value - Have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and mission - Have the ability to act deliberately in everyday work based on good self-awareness - Be able to manage and analyze information flows, identify connections, define scope, and communicate information - Have the ability to communicate clearly and create a climate where we listen to each other. You must also have: - A university degree of 180 higher education credits (120 points) in an area relevant to the position, or several years of current experience with qualified work at the Swedish Tax Agency - Current and relevant experience of leadership with personnel responsibility. It is desirable that you have current and relevant experience with any of the tasks within income taxation and/or special income tax. Good to Know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month trial period. Within the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management appointments of up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of up to three years, without limit on the number of extensions. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with record check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made. For some of our work tasks in security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
