About the role As a manager and leader at the Swedish Tax Agency, you take a holistic view, create the right conditions, and act consciously in your daily work. You will be the section chief for Section 1 at Unit 8 of the Personal Tax Assessment Division. You have personnel responsibility for 18 employees, participate in the unit's management group, and report to the unit chief. The section works with ROT, RUT, and green technology deductions. Your work location is Gothenburg. Our operations are in constant development and change. About you To succeed and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be receptive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In your work, sound judgment and understanding of legal certainty and security are essential. You must also live up to our employee policy. In this role, you should: - have the ability to see the whole picture with a focus on customer value - have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and our mission - have the ability to act consciously in your daily work based on good self-awareness - be able to handle and analyze information flows, see connections, define scope, and communicate information - have the ability to communicate clearly and create a climate where we listen to one another You should also have: - higher education of 180 credits (120 credits) in, for example, economics or law, or several years of current experience in management with personnel responsibility in public sector operations - current experience in management, coordination, or project management in public sector operations It is desirable that you have current experience in management with personnel responsibility in public sector operations. It is also desirable that you have current experience with investigations within the taxation field. Good to know The position is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Within the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management appointments for up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of no more than three years, without a limit on the number of extensions. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made.
