About the position As section head for service development, you will be responsible for a section that currently consists of three units. You lead the section's operations, report to the department head, and are part of the department's management team. The role of section head is being introduced due to our growth, giving you the opportunity to influence how the new management level should develop. You have many contact points in the job and you network both internally and externally to drive operations forward. You have a central role in our society-critical operations where we provide digital solutions for health, which gives healthcare staff better conditions and increases patient safety. About the section The Service Development section is responsible for developing and managing digital services within the department's area of responsibility. The section brings together expertise in service development and product management, and works closely with both users and technical teams to ensure that the services meet real needs. The section is part of the Health, Care and Social Services Department, which works to enable digital solutions that strengthen healthcare, social services, and dentistry. We contribute to the Swedish eHealth Agency's mission to drive the development of the national digital infrastructure. It is self-evident for you to take responsibility for both your own work and for decisions made. We are looking for you who have: an academic degree in a relevant area of at least 180 credits (or 120 points according to the previous system) at least 5 years of current experience in management with responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget current experience of managing other managers very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is advantageous for the position if you have: current experience leading technical development work within health, care, and social services or similar operations current experience with strategic development work in complex organizations current experience with agile working methods current experience in management within the public sector What do we offer?
