Section Manager for Tax Information

Discover a diverse assignment! About the role As a manager and leader at the Swedish Tax Agency, you look at the bigger picture, create conditions, and act consciously in your daily work. You are the manager of Information Section 2 within the Swedish Tax Agency's business taxation department, unit 8. In the section, we work with phone and email services for taxation questions concerning businesses and individuals. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 18 employees, participate in the unit's management team, and report to the unit manager. You will also be part of the Tax Information network that pertains to the section's area. Your work location is Linköping. Our operations are in constant development and change. About you To do a good job and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be receptive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this role, you should: - have the ability to see the bigger picture with a focus on customer value - have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and mission - have the ability to act consciously in daily work based on good self-awareness - be able to manage and analyze information flows, see connections, set boundaries, and communicate information - have the ability to communicate clearly and create an environment where we listen to each other. You should also have: - a university degree of 180 credits (120 credits) in economics or law, or several years of current experience in leadership with personnel responsibility in public sector operations - current experience in leadership, coordination, or project management. It is desirable that you have current experience in leadership with personnel responsibility. It is also desirable that you have current experience in customer-facing operations in the public sector. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Within the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management appointments for up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of at most three years, without limitation on the number of extensions. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security vetting with background check under the security protection act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision.
