About the Position As Chief of Basic Aircraft Systems, you will lead and develop operations responsible for the maintenance of the JAS 39. You have an important role in ensuring that the operation has the right expertise and conditions to deliver material and functions to the technical equipment, as well as contribute to the development of the next generation of fighter jets. In this role, you are responsible for operations, personnel, and finances, and actively work to develop both the operation and your team members. Through clear and trustworthy leadership, you create engagement, participation, and good conditions for the unit to achieve its goals. The role also involves ensuring competency supply within the operational area, contributing to the management group's work, and collaborating with the Swedish Armed Forces, industry, and other partners. As a manager, you represent FMV's vision, goals, and values and lead the operation according to the authority's leadership principles. The position is located in Stockholm. We welcome your application here: About You We are looking for someone with relevant academic education or equivalent competence that we assess as equivalent. You have current and relevant experience from a management role, such as a project manager, and express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English. It is an asset if you have experience as a manager, have worked in a technical operational area, or have basic knowledge of systems engineering.
