About the Role
As a specialist, you are responsible for the operation, development, and operational reliability of Scania's electrical distribution network and facility electrical installations. You work in an infrastructure with a complex environment, where you ensure availability, safety, and energy efficiency in our facilities.
The role involves both advanced maintenance work and technical support. You work with electrical systems in low, medium, and high voltage, including selectivity planning, relay protection, switchgear, transformers, battery installations, UPS systems, and backup power. You participate in technical investigations, fault analysis, and planning of measures that strengthen the facility's operational reliability. On-call duties may occur.
You collaborate closely with colleagues with different competencies and contribute to developing shared working methods and solutions.
Your Main Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations within the property portfolio, including high-voltage installations.
Perform switching work and commissioning according to ELSA and Scania guidelines.
Have strong knowledge of selectivity planning as well as relay protection, battery installations, UPS, and backup power systems.
Conduct troubleshooting, analysis, and testing of relay protection, switchgear, and power equipment.
Participate in investigations and technical risk assessments for installations and components.
Support colleagues and customers through training, advice, and knowledge transfer in electrical systems and electrical safety.
Who Are You?
You have broad and deep technical background in electrical power, electrical distribution, or facility electrical systems, and you are driven to create safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions. You are accustomed to collaborating in teams toward common goals.
Upper secondary or post-secondary electrical/electrical power education, or equivalent professional experience.
Several years of experience in facility maintenance and electrical distribution, preferably in an industrial or energy environment.
Experience with switching work in high voltage and relay protection testing.
Good knowledge of ELSA, ELSÄK-FS, and current standards for electrical distribution and operation.
Ability to independently analyze, plan, and perform maintenance work with high quality.
Pedagogical ability – you enjoy training and sharing your knowledge.
Swedish fluency in speech and writing, plus basic English.
Class B driver's license.

We are a team of 6 people in electrical systems, with the primary task of facility assignments within electrical systems delivery. We are a highly skilled group working very much with a safety focus and sharing competencies with each other to become stronger.
