We in SCADA Support are part of Operational IT (OPIT) and work together to create the conditions for safe and reliable electricity supply to society. Your Role As a SCADA Engineer, you work in our mission-critical SCADA system and ensure that we have the right technical conditions to operate a safe, stable, and sustainable power grid. The role involves significant personal responsibility and you become an important part of an area facing several exciting changes related to increased digitalization and higher security requirements. You work with, among other things: Building, updating, and maintaining substation and power grid diagrams in the SCADA system Configuring and quality assuring alarms, signals, and underlying data Testing and commissioning remote equipment together with internal and external partners Ensuring that the information in the systems is correct and supports safe operation of the power grid Contributing to the development of the future SCADA environment in connection with upcoming changes Your Experience We are looking for someone with experience in power generation, power grid operations, or automation/control systems. You currently work as, for example, a power engineer, power grid engineer, SCADA engineer, or have a background as a technician in power grid operations complemented with relevant technical education. A higher technical education or vocational education in power generation, energy, or electrical engineering is an advantage. To succeed in this role, we see that you have a strong interest in technology and a desire to deepen your understanding of complex technical systems. If you have experience with SCADA systems, operations environments within power grids, regional grid operations, or database management, we consider that an advantage. We believe you are curious, take responsibility for your work, and are driven by understanding how technology works in depth. You appreciate change and see opportunities when the business develops.
