Seasonal Tire Technician at Däckia in Piteå

We are now seeking additional tire technicians for the fall tire season at our workshop in Piteå. Positions include both full-time and part-time options. You will work in the workshop receiving customers and their vehicles to change, mount, and balance tires. Cleaning and storage of tires will also be a significant part of your duties. We are looking for someone with previous experience working with tires and rims at a tire shop who can start in time for the fall tire season. The season runs from mid/late October for approximately 6-8 weeks. The work is physically demanding and you will often work at a fast pace. This is a job suited for someone willing to put in effort, who enjoys teamwork, and values customer interaction. Previous experience with tire mounting, mounting/dismounting, and balancing is a plus. We would appreciate it if you have vehicle technical training. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required. Regular working hours are weekdays 07:00-16:30, but this may vary considerably during the period and you may be called in with short notice. We are looking for someone who: Has good physical condition Is reliable and responsible Is driven and takes own initiative Is service-minded Is positive and easy to work with others It is an advantage if you have experience with both passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and heavy equipment.
