Särnmark seeks junior legal counsel to headquarters in Sundbyberg (substitute position)

Särnmark's headquarters is located in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in Uppsala, Gävle, Malmö, Linköping, Gothenburg, and Visby. We are now seeking a legal counsel for a parental leave substitute position starting November 1, 2026. The substitute position is for six months, with the possibility of extension. About the position As a legal counsel at Särnmark, you will represent our customers as legal counsel in matters primarily concerning personal assistance under the Social Insurance Code (SFB) and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). The position involves independently managing legal cases and ensuring that all contact with authorities, customers, and colleagues is handled in a professional and representative manner from application through court proceedings and follow-up. Conducting ongoing training for colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in relevant areas is also part of your work. The position also includes participating in certain activities arranged for customers and other stakeholders, where you assist with advice and information about regulations surrounding personal assistance and what legal support existing and potential customers can receive from the company's legal team. We are looking for someone who has recently completed their legal studies or has worked for approximately 1–2 years. You have a genuine interest in the LSS and personal assistance field. Experience with similar work or other experience in social care, personal assistance, or working with people with disabilities is meritorious but not required. We want to find someone who is curious and sees it as a challenge to quickly familiarize yourself with your new responsibilities and develop an understanding of the complexity surrounding personal assistance. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. You are an outgoing, social, communicative, independent, and driven person who finds it easy to build relationships and inspire confidence. You are empathetic and have the ability to meet people in vulnerable situations. The work requires high standards of accuracy, responsibility, and good collaboration skills. To thrive with us, you also need to be flexible and open to change and new working methods. You have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Additional language skills beyond Swedish are meritorious. Employment terms and placement Parental leave substitute position for six months, with the possibility of extension. Placement is at Särnmark's headquarters in central Sundbyberg. The role also involves some travel to our offices and customers throughout the country. You will be part of the legal and quality department and report to the chief legal counsel/quality manager.
