For over ten years, the successful collaboration platform Samverkan Stockholmsregionen (SSR) has enabled actors in the region to better manage disruptions and crises. Through continuous adaptation to the needs of the actors and a changing environment, SSR is as relevant, important, and current as when it was established. The overarching objective of SSR is to jointly create security, safety, and efficient management of societal disruptions in the region – in everyday situations, crises, and heightened readiness. Learn more about Samverkan Stockholmsregionen here or on LinkedIn. Now Samverkan Stockholmsregionen is seeking a coordination director, who will also lead the work at the joint coordination office. What does the role include? As coordination director, you represent all members and work toward the common good. You are responsible for driving the joint work forward and ensuring it is conducted in accordance with Samverkan Stockholmsregionen's adopted vision as well as other ongoing assignments determined by the Regional Leadership Group. The Leadership Group consists of the top executives from member organizations. The County Administrative Board of Stockholm County has overall responsibility for promoting coordination and directing measures before, during, and after crises, and is therefore the chair and host organization for the coordination office. The coordination director leads the day-to-day work and reports to the Regional Leadership Group. As coordination director, you also have personnel responsibility for an office with employees who, on behalf of the county's actors, drive joint development work through, for example, working groups, networks, training, and exercises. Are you the person we're looking for? For this role, we want you to have an academic degree or other relevant education and experience that we consider equivalent many years of experience coordinating, collaborating, and cooperating with various actors, both public and private experience in crisis management many years of current leadership experience with personnel and budget responsibility. You are results-oriented and work with others to get things done. You achieve results by being attentive, constructive, and flexible. The role requires that you have high integrity, the ability to see the bigger picture, and the ability to work at all levels within both SSR and the County Administrative Board. As a leader, you have well-founded values, the ability to be clear, create security and trust. Of course, you are also interested in continuously developing your leadership. It is meriting if you have experience working in a staff organization experience working at an actor within Samverkan Stockholmsregionen experience from public sector activities solid knowledge of the Swedish crisis preparedness system experience with similar complex assignments experience meeting with and communicating with media. More about us and the role The position is permanent, full-time. (Probation may apply.) We want you to start as soon as possible or by agreement. As coordination director, you join the management group for the preparedness department at the County Administrative Board. Samverkan Stockholmsregionen (SSR) is a jointly funded platform where 37 actors have come together to efficiently manage societal disruptions. The collaboration model is based on the shared understanding that each individual actor has limited capacity to handle societal disruptions on their own. The coordination office consists of motivated employees who are experienced at solving tasks together. The office is an actor-independent resource with a broad and flexible mandate focused on collaboration and development and serves as support for Samverkan Stockholmsregionen's actors. Security Vetting The work tasks are classified in the security class. We will conduct a security vetting in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585). As a permanent employee of the County Administrative Board of Stockholm County, you will be assigned to civil defense based on total defense needs.
