DUTIES
• Investigate housing-related social matters from receiving information from a tenant or other person to completing and closing the case.
• Work in the field and maintain close dialogue with tenants and colleagues to jointly find constructive solutions to situations that may arise.
• Provide support to other departments in the company on housing-related social issues.
• Eviction prevention measures and investigations of suspected subletting.
• Participate in dialogue initiatives such as neighborhood meetings, safety walks, holiday activities, consultation meetings, presence at meeting places, or other active engagement.
• When needed, provide support in reporting welfare concerns or providing tips to the appropriate authorities for further action.
• Together with tenants and colleagues, work proactively to maintain high well-being in our residential areas.
• Cooperate with authorities such as the Police, Social Services, Enforcement Agency, Social Insurance Agency, and Tax Agency.
The role involves handling complex situations at times and meeting people in difficult life circumstances. Therefore, you need to be confident, professional, and able to make well-founded decisions even in challenging matters.
You will work together with four coordinators, a meeting place developer, a well-being representative, and a manager. Together you form Vidingehem's Housing Social Services Team. A function that is constantly evolving. The Housing Social Services Team is part of the company's Marketing Department and we actively cooperate with the entire housing company and the Växjö Municipal Group.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• Relevant academic background in social work or similar, and several years of experience working with social issues.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
• Category B driver's license.
It's an extra plus if you also have:
• Experience in public administration or qualified investigations within social work is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Arabic.
• Very good experience of cooperation within public service.
