Do you want to contribute to developing the coordination of admissions to higher education? The Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) is a government agency with a broad mission in the field of education. We are now seeking a coordinator for admissions activities with special focus and responsibility for coordinating and developing work on the agency's assignment regarding validation for the vocational teacher program. The role involves collaborating with educational institutions, industry representatives and other stakeholders to support institutions in ensuring efficient, legally sound and equitable validation processes. What you will do/be responsible for: Coordinate and develop collaboration between educational institutions, industry organizations, employers and other relevant stakeholders within the assignment Arrange and lead networking meetings, workshops, training and information initiatives for various target groups within the assignment When needed, prepare materials, guidelines, support documents and communication initiatives within the field Monitor developments in validation, skills supply and vocational teacher education and contribute to business development In addition to this, you are expected to work with the following: Plan, implement and follow up on admissions rounds Collaborate and communicate with internal and external parties, both in ongoing work and during unexpected time-critical events Follow up, analyze and compile results and experiences from admissions activities Work operationally with issues related to admissions statistics Answer support questions from various stakeholders in the admissions rounds Other work tasks may occur based on the needs of the operation. You who are applying have Higher education with a focus on social sciences and/or study and career guidance, or other education that the employer deems equivalent At least 3 years of current work experience within the university and higher education sector or other educational organization, preferably with a focus on admissions to vocational education Current experience working with targeted support for specific groups Current experience collaborating with multiple different stakeholders and target groups Current experience with data and statistics preparation Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you have: Experience with process work and digital admissions systems Experience with project management Experience giving presentations, training or webinars, both for colleagues and external target groups To function well in this role, you need to Be structured and have good ability to plan and prioritize your work Have a pedagogical approach and be able to adapt information based on target group and context Be communicative and find it easy to create good collaborations, both internally and externally Be initiative-taking and drive work forward in an independent manner Be quality-conscious and thorough in both content and implementation Be flexible and able to handle multiple parallel work tasks We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
