The group home at Bjursätragatan 25 is operated on behalf of the municipality and is for individuals within LSS category 1 with varying support needs. We work to enable people with disabilities to live as active and independent lives as possible. Our values are Care, commitment, and competence.
About the Coordinator Role
As a coordinator, you will primarily work to provide support and services based on residents' wishes and to offer each individual a meaningful daily life, using a pedagogical approach. You will also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, staffing, quality improvements, risk assessments, and documentation.
You will work closely with the operations manager and maintain close contact with the team. Your role will be central to supporting the daily operations. You will provide support and services both at home and in leisure activities, and develop pedagogical support based on individual needs.
The position is 95% full-time. Since the coordinator role is combined, you will work 50% as a residential support worker and 50% as a coordinator.
Work Tasks:
As a coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Staffing
Planning
Scheduling
Supporting colleagues in developing implementation plans, risk analyses, action plans, and support measures
Reviewing receipt documentation with contact persons monthly according to operational procedures
As a residential support worker, you will work with:
Providing support and assistance in daily life for our service users
Regular work tasks included in the group home's support services
Who Are We Looking For?
Ideally, you have experience from LSS work, but otherwise you have knowledge of pedagogical approaches and how to interact with individuals with various disabilities. You are responsive and communicative, and you understand that these are important tools for good and clear interaction with both residents and their families. As a colleague, you actively contribute to a positive and forward-thinking work environment. You naturally see opportunities instead of obstacles and have a very good ability to adapt to new situations. You can work both independently and as part of a team with your colleagues.
Qualifications and Requirements
Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
Good computer skills, experience with documentation
Experience and knowledge of the LSS target group, adults in category 1
Post-secondary education, such as support pedagogue or social pedagogue
Merits if you also have:
Experience and competence in structured teaching methods, AAC, and low-arousal approaches
Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges
B-category driver's license
Employment Terms
Employment type: Permanent with 6 months probation Employment level: 95% Working hours: day, evening, and weekends Start date: By agreement, we welcome candidates who can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
