About the Role Do you want to be part of developing the sports facilities of the future? We are now seeking a coordinator who wants to contribute to the development of operations and initiatives for ice rinks and sports halls. The role involves a broad and varied assignment where you work with coordination, development, and quality assurance within the operational area, with a focus on ensuring well-functioning, accessible, and sustainable facilities that make a difference for both sports clubs and residents. In the role, you will coordinate and drive development within the environment and sustainability area from a holistic perspective for the entire department. You are responsible for matters concerning maintenance plans, biodiversity, sustainable use of land and facilities, environmentally friendly events, and development of sustainable working methods and processes. You advocate for integrating the environment and sustainability perspective into both day-to-day operations and long-term development of the business. The operational area includes, among other things, sports halls, ice rinks, football pitches, activity areas, and forest and land areas. You report to the unit manager but work independently to ensure quality, development, and coherence within your area of responsibility. The role involves participation in cross-functional forums and networks where you are expected to contribute both operational and strategic perspectives. You are based at Slottsskogsvallen but work across the entire city. Your Main Tasks Investigate needs and analyze operations to identify areas for improvement Plan, coordinate, and follow up on activities related to operations and development Support the business in managing assignments and priorities Contribute to the development of working methods, routines, and processes Prepare materials, reports, and follow-ups Provide operational support to the unit manager in planning and development work Collaborate and coordinate within the operational area, the department, and with other parts of the administration, as well as cooperate with external parties, such as clubs, authorities, and other municipalities Qualifications We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in environment, sustainability, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You are interested in the environment area and view sustainability work as an important matter. To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience in coordination, business development, or administration. The role requires good administrative skills and experience working in digital systems. You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. A Class B driver's license is a requirement for you to be able to travel to our facilities. It is a merit if you have experience working with environment and sustainability issues. We would like to see experience working with sports facilities. If you have knowledge, experience, and interest in AI, that is also a merit. In your role as coordinator, you are driven, take initiative, and have a strong commitment to your work. You have the ability to make your own decisions within the scope of your assignment and achieve results whether you work alone or with others. You are structured in your way of working and you plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently. Collaboration is important to you and you work well with others by listening, showing interest, and contributing to the whole. As a coordinator, you are pedagogical in your communication, adapt your message to the audience, and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. We welcome your application! Terms The position is 40 hours/week with a flexible working hours agreement. There is an opportunity to work from home on individual days to the extent that operations permit.
