We are now looking for a coordinator who wants to contribute to the development of activities and initiatives for children and youth. The role involves a broad and varied assignment where you work with coordination, development, and quality assurance within the operational area, with a focus on creating equal opportunities for movement, participation, and good health.
The Coordinator for Children and Youth will be organized under the Health and Wellness unit for Hisingen and be part of the swimming and wellness operational area. You work closely with managers, colleagues, organizations, and other collaborative partners. You will be based at Lundbybadet but work across the entire city. As a coordinator, you have an important role in coordinating and developing the operation's work for children and youth based on current needs, goals, and strategic priorities.
The work includes both strategic and operational elements where you contribute to developing the operation, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring quality.
Job Duties
In this role, you will, among other things:
Coordinate and develop activities, initiatives, and programs aimed at children and youth.
Contribute to quality development, follow-up, and evaluation within the operational area.
Plan, coordinate, and implement development initiatives and projects.
Monitor the external environment and contribute to implementing new methods and approaches in the operation.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create good conditions for children and youth health and leisure time.
Provide support to operations and staff on matters concerning the target group.
Convene and participate in networks, working groups, and various collaborative forums.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in public health, wellness, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with children and youth. To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience in operations development, coordination, or project management. The role requires strong administrative skills and experience working in digital systems. You have good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. A class B driver's license is required so you can travel to our facilities.
We would like it if you have knowledge of health-promoting and preventive work as well as an understanding of the factors that affect children and youth living conditions and opportunities for an active leisure time. It is a merit if you have experience with collaboration between different operations and stakeholders, as well as work within public operations. It is also a merit if you have experience working with people with disabilities.
As a coordinator, you take initiative, start activities, and achieve results whether you work alone or with others. You have a strong commitment to your work and a genuine interest in public health issues, and you are driven to create accessible and inclusive training environments where more people have the opportunity to be physically active. You have a good understanding of how individuals acquire knowledge and adapt the way you communicate your message to the recipient. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.
As a coordinator, you take responsibility for your and the group's work tasks and follow up on results and how things are working in the operation. You build good relationships in the workplace and collaborate well with others by listening, showing interest and respect.

Terms
The position is 40h/week with a flexible time agreement. There is an opportunity to work from home on individual days to the extent the operation allows. It is an advantage to work on-site and close to the operations.
